How to make an omelet? Eggs are the best source of protein and many other nutrition. People, especially children are recommended to have an egg at least once a day either in their breakfast or any other meal. It is cheap and a super food. They can have it boiled, poached or scrambled. There is one method that confuses most people. It is the omelet. Omelets are delicious and healthy.

Here is how you can make an omelet easily.

Step 1: You will need to gather the ingredients which are: a big onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper and chilies, eggs, few spoons of butter and half cup of cheese.

Step 2: Cut them finely. Chop the bell peppers. Some people prefer to chop them in thick parts and some do it thin. Bell peppers are healthy as well as delicious. Without them, the omelet will not taste as good.  You are already using bell peppers for the omelet to be spicy, if you are not comfortable with extra hot, ignore the chilies. The butter should be frozen nor melted. Keep in a small bowl. Shred cheese in another bowl.

Step 3: Do not use the full bell peppers. You can use half or less than half.  Wash the eggs from the outside and keep them in a bowl of water for few minutes. If you are cutting chilies, use gloves or else your hand will become sore.

Step 4: Chop off the onions into small pieces, smaller than your bell pepper pieces. Take a cup and add all the chopped peppers and onion mixture. Take your glove off or else you will have trouble with the next steps. Take another bowl and rinse the eggs. Break each egg and put them in another clean glass bowl. Break all the eggs you have taken.

Step 5: Wash your hands after you handle the eggs because the equipment you are going to touch will become sticky. Add a spoon of clean water. Whisk the eggs gently.

Step 6: Get a proper pan for the egg and another pan for the peppers and onion mixture. Both the pan should be on medium or low flame to avoid burning of food. In the small one, pour the butter and the peppers. Stir them gently till you see them being cooked or else they will be raw. It may be about three and a half minutes.

Step 7: Take the left over butter and pour it in the other pan. Use a spoon to spread the butter throughout the surface of the pan. Whisk the eggs again and pour them. A large pan makes a large omelet. Since, it is on low flame, stay patient. Later add the pepper and onion mixture. Spread the pepper throughout the omelet. The delicious ingredient that Is going to give it a unique taste is the cheese. Pour the shredded cheese all over and wait till it melts. Place the cover. This is giving the time for the omelet to be cooked.
