They are easy to make and you will love the taste of it. You will want to eat more. Oreos taste delicious itself and when they are fried, they taste even better. Here is how you can make fried Oreos.

· Two-third cup of milk

· 1 egg

· 9 ounces’ pancake and waffle mix

· 1 tablespoon of oil

· Oil for cooking

· 17 Oreos

· Powdered Sugar

· Whipped cream (topping)

Here is what you have to do

Step 1: Start by opening the packets of the Oreos. Many people make the mistake of opening them right before dipping into the batter. You will have to open the packet and get all the 17 Oreos out and lay them on a baking tray. Keep that in the refrigerator for an hour. You need to put cold cookies in the pancake batter. Take a bowl and start making the pancake batter. Add the first four ingredients and use a whisk to carefully combine them. You should make sure that the batter is smooth and not sticky. You are going to cover your Oreo cookies with it. Do not add anything extra like baking powder, soft butter or flour.

Step 2: Place a heavy-bottom pan on the stove or a frying pan and heat the oil. Do not increase the heat because you will get burnt fried Oreos. The heat should be medium. You will need a candy or a deep fry thermometer because the oil needs to reach 375 degrees Fahrenheit.  They come in different flavors and you can pick any one you like.  Birthday cake is the most common one. You can pick out any flavor you like.

Step 3: Mix it well in the pancake batter. Make sure that you are fully covering it. There is no fixed time, all you have to do is, keep your eye on the Oreos while they are frying. Do not put all the 17 Oreos at once. Start in small batches. You will have space on you cooking pan but that does not mean you keep on adding them because the temperature of the oil will fall since you took the Oreos out of the freezer. Do not burn your fingers while inserting the Oreos in the hot oil and do not throw them for a distance that the oil splatters. Take them out while after they change color. Place them on paper towel so that the excess oil disappears. Serve them hot by sprinkling powdered sugar on top of them. Add whipped cream over them.

Tips

• Do not leave them on the frying them and go away. They get done quickly so do not move from the stove till they are done.
