Step 1: Get a bowl and add the salt and the baking powder. Pour the flour in it. Use a whisk to mix them altogether. Set them aside while you work with the other elements.
Step 2: In another bowl, add the egg and sugar and whisk them. Pour the vegetable oil gently and mix them slowly. Add the vanilla extract and the milk. Now, pour the mixture from the first bowl into the second bowl. Whisk them until they are smooth. Be sure that there are no lumps.
Step 3: There are many donut pan available in the market. You can buy the nonstick one, you can buy the one for 9 donuts or for six. They are usually made of steel. Some donut pans even include recipes for donuts in them. Put the mixture in the piping bag so that you can pour it out on the donut pan.
Step 4: Bake them in the preheated oven at 350 degrees. Bake them till they are changing their color into golden and this should take about fifteen minutes. While that is happening, there are more things you have to do.
Step 5: Prepare the glaze and you cannot apply it on the hot donuts. You will require 4 ounces of melted butter, 4 ounces of icing sugar, quarter cup of milk, one tablespoon of light corn syrup and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Step 6: You need to have a small round cutter and a rolling pin. Open the pack and take two of them together. If you take one, the donut will be small and light. Use the rolling pin to press them down.
Step 7: Use the cutter to make the hole inside them. Start the stove to heat the oil. Use a thermometer to check the temperature. Fry it one side for at least 50 seconds. Turn it over and cook in for another 45 seconds. Since, it contains a lot of oil, use a paper towel to absorb the extra grease. In the same way, fry all the five of them.
