How to twerk? Twerking has become a famous way to dance to fast music in a sexual manner in order to make the audience like you with the shaking of hips. It was not that popular before, but in the recent years it became widespread soon after celebrities like Miley Cyrus did it. It has been around since 1990. Famous singers of the last decade like Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé may have mentioned in once or twice but no one paid attention until now. Twerking actually started from New Orleans from the song “Do the jubilee All” which has the word several times. Miley Cyrus herself learned how to twerk from New Orleans during 2012.

Step 1: Get into a pudgy position. Pretend you are sitting on an invisible chair. Do not stay too low not too high and learn to maintain your weight. Keep your knees bent and do not hurt them. If you fall, make sure to land on your leg muscle instead of knees. Now, stand with your legs far away from each other and facing the other way. Pick a fun music and practice it and this is the easiest way to twerk making it the least sexual way to do it.

Step 2: Get into the same position like you are going to sit on a sofa. This is known as sofa position. Get your booty in the other direction. Bent your knees and put your hands on the hips. Look at what is in front of you and keep your body straight. Do not look down while you are twerking as it may look dull.  Move your weight to your legs and be a bit outrageous.

Step 3: This is not difficult to do and it looks great. Place our hands on your back and click your thumbs through the bones in your butt to help your back go front and if you are going forward, you need to move your ass backwards. This is just like going in the front direction and again in the back being in a squat position. Make sure your booty is out. Do not worry if you do not have a big butt or you are not being able to do like Miley. To make it easier, you can get lower to the ground. As you become an expert, you can start to increase the height. Miley does this by standing and keeping her legs completely straight.

Step 4: This a fun way to twerk and may be easy for you because now your legs do not have to carry all the weight. Stand on a flat surface with both legs apart about a foot away. Bent slowly and be careful not hurting your stomach or your back. You have to put both hands on the ground. Make your upper body is straight. It can get hard if you are having problem touching your toes. You need to practice before you can get to the ground. Stick your butt out and shake.
